There is something special about a true Lead Actor.
When they walk onto a set or step onstage, everyone feels it.
They hold the room with presence.
They make bold choices and take full responsibility for the outcome.
They can be trusted with a scene, with a cast, with the weight of a story.
That is what it means to lead.
And it does not start when the cameras roll.
It starts long before that.
It starts with who you choose to be, every single day.
Because how can you expect to be a Lead Actor if you are not already the lead in your own life?
I saw this firsthand on set with Jason Momoa.
I was working on a shoot where Jason was the star.
And the moment he arrived on set, the entire energy shifted.
Not because he stormed in barking orders.
Not because he tried to control everything.
But because of how he carried himself.
He was relaxed, present, fully tuned in to every person on set.
He greeted the crew, made people laugh, and led with this grounded, generous energy that made you feel like you were part of something bigger.
He was not "on" all the time. He was not trying to impress anyone.
But when it was time to shoot, he switched on and led the scene with total commitment and power.
That is Lead Actor energy.
Not forcing.
Not performing.
Just being.
And that presence, that ability to own the moment and the room, is what made people trust him, follow him, and want to rise to his level.
Imagine a ship in stormy seas.
The crew is panicked. The waves are high. The wind is brutal.
And at the helm stands the captain, clear-eyed, steady, unshaken.
Not because they are not afraid.
But because they made a decision to lead.
That is what leadership looks like on set.
And that is what it can look like in your life.
So what does that mean for you?
It means taking radical responsibility for everything in your control.
It means showing up fully prepared, not when it is convenient, but because it is who you are.
It means owning your habits, your mindset, and your energy before you ever get cast.
Because the truth is, casting does not make you a Lead Actor.
Your daily decisions do.
